Slacker!!!!!!

Ok... so I KNOW it's been FOREVER since I have given an update!!! (So long... that I have forgotten how to use this blog site :) ) I shall do my best though and give a low down of what each of us have been up to this year.....

Lanny n Jeana...

Lanny is as busy as ever being a hard worker and great provider for our family. He coached Josh's basketball team earlier this year. He is a fantastic coach!! He teaches the kids fundamentals and as a result had one of the best coached teams in the league. They had a successful season finishing with a record of 7-1. Before Josh left for the summer- the boys were able to sneak away for a fishing trip. Lanny, Josh, cousin Kyle, and My Dad ventured up to Big Lake and had a lot of fun fishing and camping!!!

Jeana is definitely enjoying the summer!!! Spring was especially busy for me this year with moving, teaching preschool, and coaching track. As well as keeping up with 7 kiddos.... (which is a full time job in and of itself :)) In track my senior repeated as a state champion in the high jump!!! It was very rewarding to see Sierra achieve her goals!!! She got a high jump scholarship at CAC. She has been an ABSOLUTE gem to coach the last 4 years and I wish her well in her college endeavors.

We recently got back from Utah where Braden (Lanny's nephew) got married! It was a TON of fun to get to hang out with Lanny's family!!! We had a great time visiting with everyone!!

Miss Lauren graduated from Massage Therapy school in December and is working as the head therapist at a salon by her house! We are so proud of her and she gives an AMAZING massage!!! She is playing around with the idea of working for a cruise ship as a massage therapist :) All the kids love it when Lauren comes to visit- she has such a big heart and the kids feel her love and enjoy spending time with her!!!

Miss Zoe finished her Junior year at Highland in May and is enjoying her summer. She recently went to a resort in Flagstaff with her mother, she went to Utah with Lanny and I, and last week she went to Santa Barbara for EFY!!! She is beautiful, fun, sweet, and loving and we love that she lives with us!! :)

Josh has had a great year with school and sports. We recently got a letter from his principal about his AIMS scores. He scored a perfect 100 on his reading and 99 in both writing and mathmatics!!! He is probably the only 3rd grader in the state that actually studied for the AIMS :) He did great in basketball and was on the Championship team for Little League!!! He is such a great little athlete and it is such a joy to watch him compete and develop. He is SUCH a good and sweet boy!! He is spending the summer with his mom right now and we miss him GREATLY!!!!

My not so little anymore Miss Tatum.... just graduated from Kindergarten!!!! My how time flies!!! She is so smart and such a great student. Back in February, she was chosen as student of the month for both of Mrs. McKinney's Kindergarten classes. Her and Chloe had their one and only dance performance in May. It's been fun to see her come out of her shell and learn to love to perform!!! She is always singing and dancing around the house!!! After their performance they both decided that they don't want to do dance anymore though :)

Little Miss Kaitlyn also graduated from Kindergarten this year. She stays very active in North Carolina doing girl scouts, soccer, and gymnastics. She had a BIG gymnastics competition the end of May and she did a fantastic job!!! She passed off everything she needed to do to be able to advance to the next level!! We love her and miss her bunches!!! She recently learned how to ride her bike WITHOUT training wheels which is VERY exciting!!!

Chloe girl will be turning 5 next week!! She is excited/nervous to be starting school. She is very loving and nurturing. Her and Brody grew a lot closer this year while all the other kids were at school and it was just the two of them at home. It was cute to see them playing together and Brody bossing Chloe around. She has devloped such a sweet and sensitive personality. She always comes and gives me hugs n kisses and tells me she loves me.

What can I say about Brody boy!!! He gets bigger and bigger every day!!! He communicates SO well!!! He potty trained himself-- which has been REALLY nice!!! He just woke up one day and started using the toilet!! It is FABULOUS to not have to change anymore diapers!!! He is still such a boy- loves balls or anything that has to do with sports. He adores Josh and follows him around every where!!! He has been totally lost since Josh went to spend the summer with his mom!!!

Oh my goodness! Your family is SO cute and they are all growing up so fast! It was fun to read about what everyone is doing! Busy, Busy! I know what that's like! :0) Thanks for the update! It's fun to hear how you guys are doing! I totally think we should plan for at least one day a year, when we get our families together and hang out! It would be totally fun! Let me know if any of the kiddo's ever want to come and play at our house! We have lots of fun toys and a swing set in the backyard and my kiddo's would love to play! :0) Loves!
