Christmas with the Brown's

Christmas morning- we had 4 of our 7 kids with us. We all woke up rather early thanks to Brody. He had lost his binkee (that we were trying to break him of). He woke up at 5 completely hysterical because he couldn't find it-- and after trying to reason with him for 5 minutes I finally told him to go find it himself. So he climbed out of bed- stumbled down the hall and turned the kitchen light on. He walked around the kitchen for a minute then wandered into the family room, when he realized that Santa had brought him baseballs, a bat, and tee. He immediately stopped crying, picked up his bat, and started hitting the baseballs!!! He then woke up Tatum, Chloe, and Zoe. And by 8 o'clock we were all ready for bed again!!!

We made Gingerbread houses with all the kids. Brody's contribution was playing basketball and throwing the ball at the girls' houses. They were all very appreciative!!! :) Lanny did an excellent job of putting it all together. The kids had a GREAT time!!! Everyone was impressed with Zoe's house. She went for a simple yet magnificent house- a one-story mansion. Tatum, Kaitlyn, and Chloe went with a more traditional style house. And Josh had to top them all and build a 3 story house.
